Support & Notifications

Create support tickets and view system notifications for releases, downtime, and announcements.

Overview

TestKase provides built-in support ticket creation and a system notification feed to keep you informed about platform updates, scheduled maintenance, and important announcements. Both features are accessible from the settings sidebar and are available to all organization members.

Support Tickets

If you encounter an issue, have a question, or need assistance, you can create a support ticket directly from within TestKase.

Create a Support Ticket

  1. Navigate to SettingsSupport from the settings sidebar.
  2. Click Create Ticket.
  3. Enter a subject describing the issue or question.
  4. Provide a detailed description of the problem, including steps to reproduce if applicable.
  5. Select a category (e.g., Bug Report, Feature Request, Billing Question, General Inquiry).
  6. Click Submit. Your ticket is created and the support team will respond via email.

Include as much detail as possible in your support ticket — screenshots, browser information, and steps to reproduce help the support team resolve your issue faster.

System Notifications

System notifications keep you informed about platform-level events that may affect your workflow. Notifications appear in the notification feed accessible from the settings sidebar or the notification bell icon.

Notification Types

TypeDescriptionExample
ReleaseNew feature announcements and platform updates"Version 2.5 released — new AI chat assistant and webhook integration"
DowntimeScheduled maintenance windows and service disruptions"Scheduled maintenance on March 15, 2026 from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM UTC"

Managing Notifications

  • Filter by type — Use the filter controls to show only Release, Downtime, or Info notifications.
  • Mark as read/unread — Click a notification to mark it as read. Use the bulk action to mark all as read.
  • Notification history — All notifications are preserved in your feed for reference.

System notifications are platform-wide and cannot be individually configured. For project-specific notifications (like test execution events), see Webhook Integration.
